Hey Thom, Thanks. I kind of figured I would have to use VB to make this work. I'll try your second suggestion. It might work, but I've got 2 columns and need read/modify the second so I need to move the cursor around. I'll give it a shot and let you know. Thanks. Graphically defined Rules unfortunately do not (hopefully yet :) support this. However you can do something like that within the VBA editor: I'd suggest having a Rule that detects "being there" and then call further evaluations... It's likely easier to use regular VB variables instead of Flags here because there's less punctuation going on. Basically what you want is a string that contains the desired cursor position. Cond="@" & j & ",6" If rule Cond then .... End if As an aside, sounds like you want to send an enter if you are within a range of rows? You can do that with the Field condition: @6#4,2#10 Regards, Thom Thom C. I know there are other ways to report cursor positions, but thought I would try to use an incrementing flag for cursor location. What I've been testing. Step -Flag- - Always... F("Row") = "6" Step -CheckRow- -If @F("Row"),2#10 then Enter"" End If This is the VB code created by BWS: If Rule("No <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED],1&@F(#10> [EMAIL PROTECTED],1&@F(""Row""),2#10") Then Enter "" Step = "CHECK USER" Exit Sub End If In the Step view it shows "....and Cursor at Row F("Row"), 2#10" If I have to I'll just define the rows in each step.
