Each Row in Excel is a Record in the Datastation. Each Column is defined as a
number (1 to ??) in the Datastation.
If I understand what your asking....
Something like this.
For Rules based:
Step - "Not EOF"
Not EOF
If D("Status") <>"Done" then
Step = "Enter Data
End if
Step - "Enter Data"
Title E/E Remittance at 1,1 and Cursor at 2,1 .....Enter D("1") ' Current
record, 1st column.
Title E/E Remittance at 1,1 and Cursor at 3,15 ...Enter D("2") ' Cuerrent
record, 2nd Column
Step - "Check Datasheet"
Not EOF ....D("Status") = "Done"....D.Next_ 'If you forget the "" around
Status it does weird things. :) D.Next_ goes to the next line.
EOF ....go to End
You could also add a;
If D("1") ="" then
end
end if
Just because Excel sometimes does not know when the end of the file as been
reached. You may also want to include a Trim$(D("1")) to remove any spaces at
the end of the data.

Subject: [talkbws] reading columns & rows in excel
I am working on a script that requires me to read two different columns and the
advance a line and read the next line. This would continue until the two
columns no longer have a value.
I have scripted one column but never two different ones and then advance one
line and repeat the process.
Has anyone ever done this before? Got any tips ?
Thanks
