Spooling to FTP is the way to go, let the script capture the spool #, copy the file to UNC locations, delete the file etc.
There are always several ways to accomplish the same task of course. This group is great for picking up ideas from others. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, March 30, 2009 9:36 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [talkbws] Download an NPR report with BWS 6.5 Hi, I'm making changes to an old script that was written in BWS 7 and uses Meditech Workstation v3.26. I making a call to an NPR report that I want to "download" to a network drive. When I have the script enter DOWNLOAD at the Print On prompt, the windows "Save As" popup appears where the path and filename of the file will be entered. Does anyone know a graceful way to access this popup so I can enter the path and filename? Thanks!
