I'm thinking there has to be something, a registry entry, etc, that
tells BWS what

Connect, "", stMeditechCS

means.

I would highly doubt they would hardcode it into the product. Would
they?

I found it easier to create a copy of the CSMAGIC.exe and calling it
VMAGIC.exe on machine. There is less updating.

Subject: [talkbws] TCP/UDP client changeover (C/S 5.5)

Hello,

Currently we utilize a connection to the UDP client using

Connect, "", stMeditechCS

in rules-based scripting.

In preparation for changeover to the TCP client, do we have to use the
full path to the CSMAGIC.exe or will the same statement above suffice in
the scripts if VMAGIC.exe no longer exists in the default path?

I'm hoping its nothing more than a registry entry change that points to
the proper Meditech client if anything. I'd rather not have to touch
over 900 scripts.

Thank you,
