Greetings,
This topic came up on my webinar today so here goes - you can see some
screen shots etc if you search the documentation for:

"Calling One Rules Script from Another Rules Script"

Use one Rules Script to call and launch another Rules Script using the
instructions below.

1.      Open the Project
<mk:@MSITStore:C:\Bss70\bws.chm::/ProjectFilesWhatIs.html#concept_809865
554A6A41E4BD1C64B6AAB589E8> that contains the Script to be launched.
2. Select the desired Script from the Script List
<mk:@MSITStore:C:\Bss70\bws.chm::/CommonlyUsedToolbars.html#concept_4D50
CF855A3643A78DA32B116BBB2C2F__ScriptsToolbar>  dropdown.
3. Select View > Visual Basic Editor, change the name of the Sub
RulesShell from RulesShell to a SomeNewName. The new name can be
whatever you like, but should not included spaces or special characters.

4.      Open the Project
<mk:@MSITStore:C:\Bss70\bws.chm::/ProjectFilesWhatIs.html#concept_809865
554A6A41E4BD1C64B6AAB589E8> that contains the Script that will call the
desired Script.
5.      Add a Call
<mk:@MSITStore:C:\Bss70\bws.chm::/ActionsCreating.html#concept_5164EE7C6
26C4985A8BE25E19A377323> to the newly renamed RulesShell, for example,
Call SomeNewName.

Handling Unexpected Errors in Called Script

It is important that the called Script is able to exit gracefully and
return control back to the calling script. To ensure this will happen
even in the event of an unexpected error, include a Timeout
<mk:@MSITStore:C:\Bss70\bws.chm::/RulesTimeOutUsing.html#concept_C6B82BC
693B5407781AD007C7D8B21A0> Rule in the called Script.

Regards,

Thom
