Greetings,

That's because you have to connect to the resulting window(s) as well.

STAR Navigator is really an application launching system not a single
application. So it launches separate applications that must be connected
to just like if you launched the screen by hand.

Now the question is- what is being launched? Is it HBOWem(character
screen)? Or is it another windows application?

I will make the assumption you'd know how to connect to either option
above correctly.

If it's the character based screen - and that's all you'll ever be
scripting using the login you used to sign into STAR- do youself a favor
and make your life just a little easier - configure your login so it
does not have a Navigator view. That way you can just launch HBOWem
directly.

If it's a Windows screen - bear in mind that after you pick an
application from that screen -it's just a menu system. Then you'd need
to connect once again to the launched application.

Here's the flow:

Connect - Navigator login

Connect - Resulting window

Connect- window launched from the menu

Regards,

Thom

Has anyone been able to successfully connect to that application? I can
connect via a Windows stream to the first part where I select Financials
or Patient Care, but can't seem to connect to the window that follows to
enter my login.

Thanks.
