Greetings,

Here's an example in the Script Center that illustrates how to deal with this
situation:

http://www.bostonworkstation.com/customer_center/script_center/script_details.aspx?id=382&cat=10

Note - it applies in general , meaning the concept - it would not simply work
for this particular screen.

The basic idea is to make the script think like a user would in these screens.
They look at row they are on, read it, and see if it's the one they want - if
not, arrow down to the next one - if so -well do whatever.

In Rules to do this, you'll need two Steps - one that reads the field you are
currently in and another that compares what was read against what you want to
find - if it's not the item you want - key a down arrow. If it is the item you
want - well do whatever you want with it.

Key concepts to know:

Use of the Field condition (because your script needs to be flexible since the
Row changes as you arrow down)

Use of "Row" in the View command as opposed to a hard coded Row value

If you're having problems applying the example to your situation, please give
your friendly neighborhood Boston Software Support person a ring (866 653-5105).

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [talkbws] Script question - MEDITECH

I am trying to write a script, new at this, I am logging into MEDITECH and I
have a spreadsheet that has the MIS USER PROFILE mnemonic, the Users with
access and another column that has a blank or Yes to delete the user from the
profile. How do I scroll down the screen to get to the user I want to delete,
the user may be beyond the users you can actually see on the screen. Screen
shot attached. Thanks in advance for any help.
