Greetings,

FYI.

The example on the website uses an approach that doesn't require
winzip32.

Thanks for sending this approach, I've added it to the site.

As an aside, pretty easy to sign up to get access J

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [talkbws] RE: Zipping files using BWS

Can't get onto the website to see if this is similar answer, but this is
one way we do it here

just a note the wzzip is the command line exe you could also use
winzip32

' Winzip Program for command line

Const WIN_ZIP As String = """C:\Program Files\Winzip\wzzip"""

Function ZipFiles(sZipFileName As String, sFileToZip As String, Optional
sAction As String = "a") As Boolean
    Dim sCommand As String

    If LCase(sAction) = "a" Then ' Add files to zip
        sCommand = WIN_ZIP & " -yb -a " & sZipFileName & " " &
sFileToZip
    ElseIf LCase(sAction) = "m" Then ' Move files to zip
        sCommand = WIN_ZIP & " -yb -m " & sZipFileName & " " &
sFileToZip
    Else
        sCommand = WIN_ZIP & " -yb -a " & sZipFileName & " " &
sFileToZip
    End If

    Shell sCommand

End Function
