Why not just calculate the T+1 in vb and pass the value to Meditech?

I had a similar type of issue.  I was trying to script in: T[0.5X]+T[3X] but 
the + sign would be dropped when it was scripted in so only T[0.5X]T[3X] would 
be entered.  I ended up having to enter T[0.5X]++T[3X] and then it would script 
in T[0.5X]+T[3X].

You might want to try: Enter "T++1"

That was a good idea but it did not work

 I got  TE1

  I looked at meditech's ascii collating sequence table and it has 43
for the + ..  That also gave me the T!..

The + acts as the shift key which is why you are getting a !.

Try using Enter("T" & Chr(69) & "1")
