Or you could simply remove vbMode from the Userform1.show statement. Modal is an optional parameter so it doesn’t need to be passed. Regards, Thom Thom C. [email protected] 08/05/2009 03:17 PM Please respond to [email protected] To [email protected] cc Subject [talkbws] RE: User Forms Greetings, Yes. The problem here is how you are launching the Userform – or more specifically the Modal setting being used. What is probably happening with the syntax you are using is that it’s interpreting that as 0 – which causes the form to load modeless (what you are seeing now) For the Show method, Modal is the default setting actually. So to launch your form simply use: Userform1.Show Or to be specific Userform1.Show 1 And of course since the form is modal, you’ll need the form to go away when the button is clicked. Unload UserForm1 Will “destroy” the form so if you have code in the form initiate event handler, this is probably what you want – unless you don’t want this code firing each time the form is displayed J In that case, you’d use Me.hide which will hide it, but it stays in memory Regards, Thom Thom C. Hi All, IS there a way to halt the script till the User Interacts on the User Form? I need to collect some info from the user before the scripting into Meditech. Right now I created a UserForm and has a simple text box and Command Button. I am calling this UserForm (UserForm.Show=vbModal) in the first step. But as soon as the form is showing it is going to the next step, before the user has a chance to enter the data. Is there a way I can wait till the user hits the command button? How do we wire up Form Controls into Script Module?? thank you.
