Subject: [talkbws] RE: Minimize mode scripting

Greetings,
I've just started noticing RDP sessions doing this, I would have thought that
when they are minimized but not closed it wouldn't matter - but evidently that
is not the case. Why I just started noticing this (is it I just didn't
minimize things, or something has changed with RDP - I do not know).

Seems like when minimized, it sends some sort of signal to the remoted into PC
to suspend activity or something.
Not really sure, except I know it happens.

I've gotten around it by making the remoted window really small :) if I want to
multitask.

But in general, have to be careful with RDP because if you leave the session -
as best I know - that's as good as logging off the desktop you remoted into.

Regards,
Thom

Treat BWS like a physical person sitting in front of the terminal making all
the key strokes. If they can't see what they are doing, or lose focus then so
does BWS. :)

You can get around that by using PcAnywhere or VmWare where you can close the
connection, but you don't lose the session.

Subject: [talkbws] Minimize mode scripting

Hi All,
I am running Meditech NUI version, The script runs fine when I run in the focus
mode(I run it on a RDP session), but when I minimize the RDP session the script
seems to stop at that point. Is there some setting I need to make for the
script to continue or should I run the script in Focus mode. Please advice.

thank you
