Greetings,
The data capture, use the View command - highlight the data in the
Application Viewer Window and select View. Be sure your C/S screen is
where it would be when the script displays this number automatically.
As for storing the data into Excel. If you are using the DataStation to
read from a file in this script you could use a DataStation Report to
output a spreadsheet. If the file is Excel, you could write the account
number back into the spreadsheet provided you configured "Direct
Updates" and this config is stored in the .BDS for that file.
Either way, the View command would be something like:
D("Account")=View(Row:= ... )
