Greetings, I have seen that Meditech does not <like> having a large block of text keyed in at once - to make a long story short, it has to do with the mechanism Meditech offers to allow text to be filled in.
One approach I've used is to "key in chunks" like this example shows: http://www.bostonworkstation.com/customer_center/script_center/script_de tails.aspx?id=110&cat=10 Only need it for the data entry in that spot so take that routine, paste it in and swap out your "keying command" to call the routine above. If you know what the answer is to the Y / N field, (and the large block of data entered correctly of course) could just script it to answer. Regards, Thom Thom C. I'm working a script that is updating procedure and diagnosis code dictionaries....things are working well but every once in a while when entering the description the cursor will "jump" down to the data entry point. The script is not designed to do this so it throws things off and it's one of those wonderful fields that requires that you enter either Y or N and will not allow you to "leave" the field without doing so....Is this behavior something others have seen and if so is there a way I can counteract it?
