[talkbws] RE: ODBC Datastation

Greetings,
In general, the DataStation takes a read only approach to the data it
accesses so it does not provide direct update features (except for Excel).
So the updating would go through something like ADO etc.
Regards,
Thom

Subject: [talkbws] ODBC Datastation

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone used the ODBC datastation connection before?

I'm connecting to an SQL server to pull the record set needed for the
updates that I'm applying to the system.

Can that connection update the table where I'm pulling the records from
directly in the database? or do I have to go through and push an update
manually using VBA?

Thanks.
