The code has worked in the past, but in this script?

Has the Java connection worked on this PC in the past?

I think the object variable message may come up if the selected
component doesn't have what you're looking for.

Subject: [talkbws] Java.Find and Java.Selected.Value

All,

I have been playing with the Java connection and can't always get the
Java.Find and Java.Selected.Value to work. The code below has worked in
the past. The java.Selected.Value line errors with the nortorious
"Object variable or With block variable not set". All of the other
commands work... however the Java.Find does return a false.

Also... (and I think this might be related ) ... When I connect to the
Java screen and click the Advanced Windows Functions button, choose the
Java tab and click Refresh.. I now get nothing! In the past I could see
all of the java objects/pausestrings. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

Connect "Horizon", stJava

Java.First

Java.Key "{DOWN}"

Java.First

Java.Find "Enter table name and then click double-click "

If Java.Selected.Value = "staff_setup" Then

            'Do Something

Endif
