Greetings,

There was a change in the behavior here with current shipping and future - see
Release Notes section of customer area for details.

But basically MeditechFocus.exe is now designed to stay alive. It also has
logic to only allow one running instance at a time - so if script A has a shell
to launches it, and script b does as well and A runs, then B runs, only one
instance will be running even though nothing explicitly closed it.

Regards,

Thom

I believe it is supposed to close automatically when Meditech closes but it is
inconsistent.

No, that is not what I want either. That command will close all open meditech
windows. I only want to close the MeditechFocus.exe process, the stream server.

Thank you,

Key "@_KILLMEDITECH" works but I'm not sure how graceful it is.

How do I gracefully close this process after my script is completed?

Key "@_CLOSE" does not seem to work.

The help that is with the "latest" version of BWS is out of date. Can you
please send a command summary for use with the MeditechFocus method for
connecting with Meditech C/S. (Especially the different Key "@_" commands)

Thank you,
