Greetings,

I saw the problem was solved - one trick I use to resolve this when I
know the script will just run on a given pc, is to shell the shortcut
(the .lnk) as opposed to the exe of the actual app and allow the
shortcut to do all the "start in" or any parameter passing work for me.

But that's just because I am fundamentally lazy J

Regards,

Thom

Travis,

You may also need to change drive prior to ChDir. . .

ChDrive "T"

Before the Shell_, do a ChDir "T:\ETIME\DATA"

I think that's the correct syntax.

Here's a screen shot of the properties of the icon:

Sorry for the ignorance but how would I script this connection
where the Target executable in located in one place but the application
needs to be started in another?

        Thanks,

You may need to do a ChDir to change the directory that you're
starting the program from. It's probably looking in whatever the
current directory is.

Just curious if anyone has any experience working with BWS and
eTime? I'm having issues just getting to a login screen....

When I shell out to the path the eTime executable is in I get
this error:

According to Help that error is related to:

Not sure what that file is or even where to find it within the
eTime install....When I subsequently go to Start and click the icon that
points to the same executable that I'm using in my shell command
[Shell_ """T:\ETIME\APPS\TKCWIN.EXE"""] it brings up the login screen
and allows me to login...

Just hoping maybe someone has some prior experience with it that
can offer some assistance...

        Thanks,
