Thanks fellas. This is where my thinking was going, but wasn't sure if there was an easier/built in function for this.

Then I read the error line (view(, , 24, 1, 80, True)) and check if it?s stating and Error. You can read the line into a variable so that you can then log the error message given. The Stable 0.25 makes sure the cursor is stable for .25 seconds before continuing, which is generally enough time to allow the Error message to pop up but not too much time that it will have gone away. So ? Enter ?My Data? Stable 0.25 errorLineText = View(, , 24, 1, 80, True) If errorLineText like ?*Error*? then ? I need to take action when and if it shows up, and I also need to log the error. Currently, I am trying to grab it with the View command. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ James Walker Systems Analyst St Marys Health System Knoxville, TN Ph (865)545-7731 Fax (865)545-3007 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ [email protected] 03/23/2010 05:34 PM Please respond to [email protected] To [email protected] cc Subject RE: [talkbws] HBOWem message flicker Greetings, Yes I do J but have some questions first. You trying to grab it with a View command for storage? Or does your script need to take a particular action if a particular message appears? Is this a Rules based script? Regards, Thom Thom C. I've tried several times to capture the line, but it seems to always be a blank line. The status will only stay there for about a half to 1 second so I think timing may be an issue. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ James Walker Systems Analyst St Marys Health System Knoxville, TN Ph (865)545-7731 Fax (865)545-3007 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
