If the machine was successfully relicensed – on the former Runtime machine 
–click on the Runtime toolbar – you’ll see an icon like this

Toggle it off and you’ll see the dev stuff appear.

I did that and BWS quickly supplied me with a new key. But when I reopen 
BWS or that .bws file I get only the runtime screen not the screen where I 
can modify the script, steps ect.

You would probably have to go through the steps to get a clear code on the 
current developer PC and then contact Boston and get a new # to upgrade 
the Runtime PC and then reverse all of that when you want to switch back. 
  
I've had to switch computers several times since we bought our licences 
and BWS staff has always been very accomodating.

Hi , 
Is it possible to copy license to a run time version and convert it to a 
developer version? and then back to runtime. Due to connectivity reasons I 
have to copy my developer key to the client side PC which has only 
runtime. I want to know if I can upgrade this to Developer version and 
then revert back to Runtime after fixing the script. 

Please advice.
