But no need to do anything outside of BWS - the below can handle the dialog: Here I am launching a Session named ?Default? Sub StartSTAR() Shell "C:\HBOC32\Hbowem32.exe Default", vbNormalFocus Shell_ "C:\Bss70\HBOWEMServer.exe Default" Connect "Default", stStream Activate "HBO", True If IsWindowEx("Launching HBOWEM") Then SmartDialog("Launching HBOWEM", "Yes<Push button>").Click End If End Sub Regards, Thom Thom C. I suppose we could create a winbatch script that looks for the prompt, or even a com script, and clicks yes, but I haven't been able to find a way to suppress that. I guess I could open a McKesson support call and see if there's a way. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ James Walker Systems Analyst Mercy Medical Center Knoxville, TN Ph (865)545-8289 Fax (865)545-3007 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ [email protected] 08/26/2010 10:50 AM Please respond to [email protected] To [email protected] cc Subject RE: [talkbws] Star multiple instance suppression I?m assuming you?re talking about having two HBOWEM windows open and running at the same time, each with a different session (versus just connecting to an already open instance that?s no longer being used). I don?t know of anyway to get around the ?Another Session? prompt. It?s built in and I?ve never been able to find a setting/switch to turn it off. There may be ways to code for it by using the SmartDialog functionality, though I?ve never tried it. It would take some work to get which session is already open to make sure you?re opening a different session and to look for the ?Another Session? prompt. But, seems like you could do it. Sorry I don?t have any code examples for you. This is preventing true automation of the scripts and I don't see anything in help files or usegroup archives. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ James Walker Systems Analyst Mercy Medical Center Knoxville, TN Ph (865)545-8289 Fax (865)545-3007 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
