Greetings,

Siemens Invision is a mainframe application accessed by terminal
emulation (Rumba, Reflection,IBM Client Access) are the most common.
We've got connections for any emulator used - typically you're using the
HLLAPI connection.

To build the script, you will need Boston WorkStation (Dev license) and
the emulator installed on a PC.

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [talkbws] Siemens Invision

I have a request to look into updating a CDM in Siemens Invision using
BWS. I'm not familiar with the system at all. Does anyone know if it has
a local client that can be installed with a VPN connect so it can be
scripted against? If not, how does one go about scripting against a
system that doesn't have a local client or web interface? Would this
require the development version rather than the run-time to be installed
on location so that scripting can be done within the system? What have
been some of the solutions for this scenario?

Thanks.
