Greetings,

That does not sound at all normal.

I would suggest either sending in a email request to schedule a
GotoMeeting with Support or giving them a call.

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [talkbws] Loss of Magic focus

Good afternoon everyone.

Earlier this summer I upgraded one of my systems to the latest release
of BWS. It didn't maintain focus with Magic very well so I dropped back
to the previous version. Since then, I'm getting screen update
hesitations. Sometimes these resolve on their own, sometimes BWS sucks
every spare drop of resources the machine has to offer and locks things
up. After playing with it today I found that if I make the Magic
connection active (physically bring Meditech to the front) BWS will
continue on it's merry way, until the next time. Some times I can get a
few hundred records scripted, other times it will go a few thousand.
I've noticed, on occasion, the same thing will happen when developing a
script. Especially if there is confirmation window involved. Running
9.8 Patch 769 (build 1408). Magic ver 4.21a

My other system runs the same version, never attempted the upgrade and
skips right along with out missing a beat.

Anyone suffering from these symptoms?

Thanks.
