This what I was looking for...

?CDate(Format(F("Admit"),"&&/&&/&&"))

9/24/2010

Now I should be able to compare them.

Thanks,

Reese

What does the value in the file look like? Does it need double quotes
around it?

What type of date comparison? Comparing dates usually requires
converting both dates to Julian based on an incarnation date. Lots of
info on the web on how to do this.

Thanks,

I am having some issues with a date format. I am viewing this in STAR
as "mmddyy". I need to know how to get that to convert so that I can
compare another date to it. I realize it thinks it is a Julian date or
something.

?F("Admit")

092410

?CDate(F("Admit"))

1/2/2153

Any help would be great appreciated.

Thanks,

Reese
