At the end of your command, add the redirection operator '>>' with no 
space between your shell command, then a space and the path to your file; 
the file will be created if it's not there.  If the file exists, it will 
be appended.  If you don't want it appended, use '>' instead.

Is there a way to check the return code from a Shell_ command? Or maybe a 
way to redirect the command line output to a file?
