My issue is that the download path is not consistently highlighted or not
highlighted. If it were, then, yes, backspace, delete, or nothing at all but
the string I want to send would be fine. When it is highlighted, I just want
to send the string w/o clicking because if I click, then I un-highlight it and
insert the string into what's already there. When it's not highlighted, then I
do want to click because clicking will highlight it. And to further complicate
things, the defaults for this dialog are not taking when we set them (this is
happening for users all over the house).

Could be differences in the versions of Meditech C/S we are running, but the
backspace key for me.
When I click in the download path of my scripts, the contents are highlighted
so backspace works great.
Guessing the delete key would work fine too.

Thanks!

Subject: [talkbws] clear a field

Hi,

I've just taken a Meditech c/s upgrade and I'm getting some inconsistency with
the print /download dialogs. It would help if I had a command to clear a field
that I've just clicked into. Is there such a thing?
