For those who love a challenge -

I am looking for assistance writing a script that will read in direct
deposit account information from a text file, save the account
information in a table and then compare the stored values to the
existing accounts listed in the Meditech employee direct deposit record.
I have a limited knowledge of VB and write scripts using Rules.

The input file lists all DD accounts for each employee whether the
account has been changed or not. So the challenge is to script only the
changes leaving the matching accounts alone to prevent them from
prenoting. All new accounts will prenote.

Basically this is what I am trying to code:

Record Type = DD

Read in SSN, allocation type, transit #, account #, acct type, amount,
and priority

Store each value in a table

Repeat up to 6 times (employees are limited to 6 DD
accts)

Next:

Enter SSN in Meditech go to Direct Deposit tab

Compare each row in the table to each account stored in
Meditech

DELETE if the account is in Meditech but
not stored in the table

ADD if the account is in the table but
not in Meditech

CHANGE if the transit # and account #
match then update account type and amount

If anyone has an existing script that uses storage tables I would
appreciate hearing your recommendations.

Thank you!

Paula
