I have a question about connecting directly to an SQL database. I have a query setup and working with BWS. The problem that I am running into is that the query is stored in the .bds file. The query has a date range hard coded into it. I would like to be able to dynamically change the dates of the query based on the day that the script is ran. Since the query is hard coded into the .bds file, I am not sure how to do this. Is there a way that I could pass a variable to the query before it is executed? Is there a way to run the query directly from within BWS instead of storing it in the .bds file? Thanks in advance for any help that you are able to provide.
