You know, it almost looks like the machine or server is needing to wake up maybe (I’ve seen a few VM guests that need a few seconds up before they could be used for the first time in a day)? For fun, try calling the script through a batch file. Something like:
Net use B: \\server\share<file:///\\server\share> C:\Bss70\Bss80.exe /B:\CentraMed\StarLateChargesCreditsnotes.bws Net use B: /Delete If it is the case, the net use should ‘wake’ it up and then it should be OK. You could even look on the interwebs for a utility called “sleep.exe” which you could plug in as the second line (c:\sleep.exe 5) to allow a 5 second delay between the Net use mapping and calling BWS. Copy the file, run the script, does the same error present itself? This will either identify or eliminate the script pc as the issue. You may want to look at the Application and Security event logs for the times when the error occurred as an additional troubleshooting tip. Sometimes additional information is available that will identify the cause. Have you thought of adding additional error handling? What step generates the error?
