Sure can.
First when opening your Excel file, set the "Directly update..." check box.
Then use
D("My Field in Excel")=View(...)
Note - if you use a field name that isn't in Excel, the DataStation will create
it for you.
Finally you can force the change to happen record by record using
D.T.Appl.Save
Otherwise, the changes will be saved when D.Close_ happens - or it reaches End
of File.
