Travis, If this were me, I'd take the simple route of scheduling it to run every day at a convenient time- e.g. where when it does run, the PC has the time to do it, and it wouldn't delay something else important.
It will take less than a second to do the check, so there's no meaningful overhead to this approach. Regards, Thom Thom C. Blackwell, VP Technical Services Boston Software Systems, Inc. Good afternoon: We're a C/S site running 5.66 and I've got a BAR related script that I need to set on a "different" kind of schedule. I'm going to be posting payments from one of our bad debt vendors into a BAR batch but the hiccup is they run their processes on the first business day of each month and will provide me the input file on the second business day of each month. Just wondering if anyone has run up against this type of need and how you ultimately handled it? I guess I could set the script to run the first 7 days of each month and just drop out if the input file is not there but hoping to be able to create a more elegant solution if there's one to be had?
