[Talk] coping text on a website

This is my first post on the list,  my problem is I need to scrape a status of 
a claim from a website,  the site is poorly written so I was wandering if 
anyone has found a way to copy text and save it to a file directly from a 
webpage using some form of the copy and paste command.
