Title: idx pop-up windows
Under the Edit|Users Settings menu in idxterm, there is a setting 'Disable Special ID'.  Setting it to 'yes' will disable popups entirely.   The special identification is used on IDX systems to enable special features such as pop-up boxes for help and list selections.  IDX software can run without these features.

Subject: [Talk] idx pop-up windows

Hi,
I am trying to find a way to close a pop-up window in idxterm.  I can do a SendKeys "%{F4}", True , but that will close any active window, so unless the idxterm is the active application, it won't close it.  Sending a command to idxterm stream itself has no effect on the pop-up.  Anybody have any experience wih this.  I tried using a c-list script, but kept getting errors, and I wasn't sure that it would work within idxterm.
