I tried scripting to key in the value for the field(date) without entering, which looked fine.  When I manually pressed the enter key, Meditech closed.

There could be a weird character in your data base.  I’d suggest stopping your script there with a:

 

If D.Record = 54 Then Stop

 

and single step through the script, and examining the values of the fields in that record.

I have a script that inputs data from a text file into Meditech Magic .  For some reason, it gets to the fifty-fourth record in the file and at a certain point in the script there is an enter command which causes Meditech to close without any errors.  Any idea what might cause this.  I put in a wait just before the fatal enter command, and it didn't make any difference.
