What I do in that case is use the pause command without specifying row or
column, just the text that is always present. For example: Pause("Print")

My thought would be to use the view command to just look at the specified
length up to the point where the variable port of the message is.

Does anyone know if you can do wildcards in a Pause or an At statement?
I have a script that may encounter a prompt that is dynamic. I have no way of
knowing in advance what may be in the prompt. There is always a fixed message
at the beginning, but the last many (variable) part of the message is data
driven.
I didn't see any information in the documentation on this matter.
Any ideas?
