We use VMWare with Meditech and Boston Workstation running on Windows 2003 standard. Works great, however:
You have to logon to the console. Have to disable the screensaver. Cannot use remote desktop. This poses a security issue, so you have to keep the machine in a secure area. Other than that, life is good.
