Hello, Minor problem solved. It appears SmarTerm has issues with that "^". I found out that if a "~" is keyed before the "^", then the "^" will script through just fine. Cheers, Kelvin

I remember from the good ol' DOS days that Control C would terminate sessions. I then tried the Key "^" which didn't work. The "^" did not script into SmarTerm. As a test, i tried to key script "!!!!!" or "&&&&&" which worked fine. When i tried to Key "^^^^^^^", this did not script through. That's when i wrote the original e-mail... I'll have a look through the Bss6.stm macro. This appears to disconnect it. Just to be sure you might verify this from the keyboard. The WorkStation connects to Smarterm using the Bss6.stm macro which you can view and modify. You can see how we key in an Enter by decoding a Key "{Enter}" string. You might mimic this logic and add a line to decode Key "{^}" as the single "^" character. This key isn't showing up in my stream. I've tried other symbols, and they are working fine. Originally, my goal was to enter "^CAL" within my script. However, whenever this passed through the script, this disconnects me from my connection via the emulator application. (i'm currently using Smarterm Version 12). I was attempting to split the entry into 2 steps; Key "^", and then Enter "CAL" right after. This didn't work. Any other ideas??
