Greetings,

I am guessing you set up the delimiter to be *.

Try this for your file replace command:

D.FileReplace "C:\Your file.rap", "~", vbCrLf

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [Talk] Datastation problem

I have a file that ends with an extension of ".rap". The information is
delimited with a "*" and the end of line is designated by a "~"

When I open the file as delimited, all of the lines are seen as one record
by the Datastation. How do I get the Datastation to recongnize the "~" as
the end of a record?

I found a post on the TALK archives from 2005 that points to using the
"D.FileReplace filename, vbCr, vbCrLf" command, but I'm not able to get that
to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Paul
