Greetings,

I am assuming here you have:

D.Open MyFile,.., "C:\mybds"- where you are specifying a BDS file to use as
a template and then the DataStation creates a .bds file for the "runtime"

I am afraid you cannot turn off this behavior - it <needs> it to do what it
does.

They can be deleted by the script using.

D.Open_myFile.

F("myFile")= d.FileName

.then when you are done with the file..

Kill f("Myfile") & .bds

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [Talk] Datastation BDS files

Howdy all,

Is there away to stop the datastation from generating the bds
files?

Thanks,
