Have you checked on Oracle forums? Look at this and see if it helps. Looks like a DNS configuration issue.

If so you can use an ODBC connection to Oracle database. Make sure you have the ODBC driver for Oracle on the PC you are running BWS to connect to Oracle. Then you can create a DNS file with the connection information. Once the connection is established you can use the recordsets in your BWS Vb-Code.
