  Greetings,

Since your lookup data is in a file, what I've done when handling this
situation is to first load the contents of the "lookup field" into a
Collection, then have a function that will evaluate said Collection to see if a
value exists within it.

Here is an example on the website that describes loading a field from a
"lookup" file and using it for comparisons.

  (I thought I'd uploaded this before - looks like I hadn't J - so I just did.

Subject: [Talk] Use an NPR to lookup valid Cardiologist

  Hello all,

I have to use the output from a Meditech NPR (running a list of valid
Cardiologist) and check it against a doctor that is coming in an EKG charge
file. The part I am unfamiliar with is doing a "lookup" into another file to
see if it is found.

Has anyone done anything like this? Any help would sure be appreciated.
  Thanks,
