Greetings, Specifying the stream name "externalizes" the connection (other instances of BWS could connect into that name if they so desired) so that's why you're seeing the 0 for r.hwnd. You can use: GetForegroundHwnd which returns the handle of the window in the foreground. (there is also a GetForegroundCaption which returns the caption of the window) I'd suggest calling this during interacting with the Print Destination window because then you'd know Meditech it is indeed the foreground window. Basically, if I do the following, Connect "", MeditechCS I get a valid R.hWnd value However, if I do Connect "", MeditechCS, "NAME" R.hWnd always returns "0" Is there a different way to get the window handle for a named stream (if that's what you call it)?
