youtube-dl is awesome.

I've also been playing around with whitey:
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/whitey

I can't actually get it to play properly... but the command line search is
pretty cool (though lack of thumbnails sometimes makes that difficult). I'll
typically copy the URLs to youtube-dl to view.
