When I got my Nexus 5, I continued on with my existing plan. The only restriction was I couldn't get another phone for 3 years. Again, William should be calling Rogers first, to see what's available, with both phone and plans, before looking elsewhere. He might be able to save money, while getting a phone at no charge.
