Firefox 45 on Fedora_22 works fine. I do not have Flash installed.
I suspect it is the lack of flash that is key to things working well.
Browser lock ups are in my experience almost always caused by flash.
Certainly I see no issue on FF 46.0.1 on Debian sid, without flash
pluging installed.
A number of people have suggested Flash as the problem. I have
deactivated and will report in a few days.
