The higher your antenna, the more stations you will receive. I'm 5km west
of Scott with an external antenna on my roof, 8' extension and can get 21
stations, of which I can watch 17. 4 stations from an indoor antenna is
good, but you might need to play with its orientation and stick it closer
to a window for line of sight LOS reception.
