This came out of a personal project where I wanted SQLite access from COBOL without writing small C wrapper modules. The repo is intentionally tiny: one SELECT example, one INSERT example, a small schema, and notes about the bits that were hard to find. I also included FreeBSD build notes and a small patch, because GixSQL did not build out of the box for me. Not a full tutorial, just a practical trace in case it is useful to someone else.
