I'm interested in playing around with singular value decomposition of matrices, and wondering:
Does anyone here use this on a regular basis, and for what? I'm pretty much vector/matrix illiterate, so feel free to mention the obvious. And can you point me to an existing library in PHP (or better yet, a PHP extension) that handles the math?
