Hey Peter, Twitter uses Google Apps, although that hasn't worked out great, since this was the entry point for all those leaked documents a few weeks ago.
Personally, I find I lose a lot of formatting when I upload a docx to google docs... but its still usable. I think it should definitely be considered, but I'm not ready to use google apps as my primary office suite.
