We all stand on the shoulders of those who came before us.

But with that said, do you deny that Apple has brought more technical 
advancements in personal computers than others?

Remember, in 1977, they introduced the Apple ][ -- before that there were no 
personal computers -- we had to use Main-frames. In 1981-2, they introduced the 
mouse, which M$ said would never catch on. I could go on, but the point is that 
from my perspective, they have led the way for the last three decades with more 
advancements than I can cite here. But that's my experience -- there's no 
reason to get into a religious war over who's computer is best. Let's not.
