You can also shift tab to the folder tree view and it will tell you how many
unread messages in your inbox.

Subject: Outlook 2013, number of messages in In-box

Running Win-Eyes 8.4 on a Windows7 Desktop. Throughout all of this morning
now, whenever I attempt to learn how many messages are present in my in-box,
by pressing Ctrl-Insert-s, I'm hearing
"Filter Filter Applied connectivity to your server" and then something about
synchronizing files. How long is that process supposed to go on? Can I do
something to force the process to complete or stop or something, so I can
find out how many messages I have in my in-box currently?
Thanks for any help.
